Independent Express Cargo has vacancies for experienced Customs Clearance agents
The Company
Independent Express Cargo (IEC), is a Dublin-based provider of freight, transport and logistics services and has been an established player in the industry since 1984. IEC operates from a 200,000 square foot, state of the art freight handling facility in Northwest Business Park, Ballycoolin Dublin 15. Independent Express Cargo established and operates Irelands largest pallet network TPN with 3000 pallets of freight handled each night. IEC also has a storage pick and pack division with 10,000 pallets in storage for more than 30 customers and operates a B2B service and B2C for a number of clients.
Duties and responsibilities
- Import and export customs entries
- Customs tariffs/valuations
- Updating ACP
- Creating and discharging T1 documents
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and revenue
- General administration
Requirements
- Previous experience essential
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential
- Excellent organization skills
- Able to work on own initiative

HGV driver
Cork/Dublin – Independent Express Cargo
Required by busy freight company located at
Kilbarry Enterprise Centre, Dublin Hill, Cork,
and Northwest Business Park, Dublin 15.
Role
To drive 18 tonne rigid vehicle
Deliveries and collection of palletised freight
Requirements
• Must have appropriate licence to drive rigid vehicle
• Current CPC and Tacho card
• Three years driving experience
• A good standard of English
• Customer service skills

Independent Express Cargo operates from a 70,000 sq ft premises in Northwest Business Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, this is a state of the art freight handling depot. By day, this operates as the Independent Express Dublin depot, and by night it’s the busy hub for The Pallet Network Ireland operation owned by Independent Express Cargo.
Independent also has a 75,000 sq. ft logistics warehouse adjoining the transport hub.
